Enjoy culinary masterpieces that taste just as good as they look by ordering delicious desserts from Tasty Cakes by Monique! You can call our bakery in Ottawa for everything from a few dozen cupcakes to multi-layered wedding cakes. All of our cakes are custom made to order and baked fresh just for you. Do you have a birthday party, graduation or some other type of celebration coming up? Our cakes and cupcakes are perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, christenings, gender reveals and so much more. A good dessert makes the day even better!

Baker Monique Bonhomme is also a talented cake decorator who loves using the latest techniques to make her cakes look amazing. All of the sugar flowers and sculptures are handmade and completely edible so don't be afraid to take a bite! We offer a variety of cake flavours and fillings, allowing you to pick a tried-and-true favourite or something new. You can also choose between buttercream, cream cheese or marshmallow icings as well as classic or marshmallow fondants.

Prices for single-tiered cakes start at $50, while prices for 2-tiered cakes start at $100 and 3-tiered cakes start at $200. To give you an estimate, average prices are $3 to $5 per serving. Prices have a base and go up from there depending on the size of the cake, the decorations and the detailing you want.

Cupcakes are $30 per dozen, and taste testings are $15 unless a deposit has been put down. Delivery isn't included in initial price quotes as the delivery price is based on distance and time rather than a flat fee.

Please note we don't have any pre-made cakes for sale and in order to give you a truly custom creation, the amount of orders accepted per week is limited. Orders are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, with cakes requiring a 50% deposit to confirm. Payments and deposits can be made via cash.

If you're ready to place an order, please make sure to properly plan ahead! At least 7 working days' notice is required for 1- or 2-layered cakes. For larger or more detailed cakes, a month is preferable. We want to give your dessert all of the attention it deserves!
